Orli wants to make the world a better place, using passion as her guiding value, and she’s well on her way to doing just that!

Orli and her family have been involved with JDRF since her T1D diagnosis, from rallying her family and friends to participate in the JDRF One Walk on her team “Team OBear,” volunteering and participating at JDRF Ride events, TypeOneNation Summits, and more. Outside of spreading awareness around T1D, Orli is passionate about the arts, social justice, and writing. When she isn’t on stage performing in a play, musical, or with her school’s chorus, Orli can be found serving as a representative for the student council environmental board, and working as an editor for jGirls+ magazine, a Jewish feminist literary magazine dedicated to amplifying female and nonbinary voices.
