If you ask Malcolm Jr. one word he would use to describe himself, he is quick to let you know that he is a leader in every sense of the word! 

Malcolm Jr. loves math, reading, sports (especially basketball), being involved in his local Boys and Girls Club, visiting his grandparents, and traveling with his parents and younger brother. Malcolm Jr.’s  father also lives with T1D and Malcolm Jr. spreads T1D awareness everywhere he goes! “ I’ve spoken at my school and traveled around with my great-grandmother, and we always end up having long conversations about diabetes with people.  People are always surprised at how well I understand diabetes and myself!”
