If you ask Paris what type of animal is her favorite, she’d probably quickly answer with “koalas.” When Paris was diagnosed with T1D, her doctor gave her a stuffed koala, whom she named Ted. Ted also has T1D and Paris says he makes her happier when she’s frustrated with T1D.

Paris loves reading, traveling, trying new foods, and watching musicals. She’s participated in several research studies, and is always willing to help the T1D community and work to spread awareness. Paris has served as a JDRF Youth Ambassador, and helps out at any JDRF event she can. When she gets older, Paris wants to work to help find a cure for T1D!
