Ethan is a high school sophomore who will never pass up the opportunity to talk about T1D. “I have always taken the opportunity to speak to my peers about diabetes, how I
live with it, and how to be aware of the signs of the disease.” Ethan and his family have been incredibly active with JDRF and the T1D community, from organizing One Walk events, serving as family mentors, and supporting the JDRF x Beyond Type 1 alliance. Ethan has even served as emcee for fundraising events!

Ethan loves working with computers, and is currently enrolled in advanced computer science classes that help him understand coding and computer programming, a set of skills he hopes to apply to his future career. In his spare time, he enjoys photography, gaming, biking, tennis, and his cats!
