Meredith is proud to use her voice to raise awareness about T1D. For many years, she has participated in JDRF One Walk, volunteered at the JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes, met with Members of Congress as an Advocate, and serves as a JDRF Youth Ambassador. Meredith also planned a Diabetes Awareness Week at her school and has given speeches about T1D to Lions Foundations all over Wisconsin.

Meredith’s hobbies include reading, painting, and playing with her dogs. She recently won an award at school for having a GPA of 4.0 for two years in a row! Meredith has big dreams for the future, and plans on majoring in political science in college, then going to law school. “I would really like to help people advocate for the things they care about.”
