Matan, who lives in Israel, loves competing in tennis tournaments and riding his bike with his brother and father. Matan has been active raising awareness for T1D. He’s held creative fundraisers, been interviewed on live television about T1D, and he’s even acted in a short film about T1D. He’s passionate about driving T1D research because “people with T1D need the help of research and technology in order to conduct a normal and healthy lifestyle.” Matan is looking forward to meeting Delegates from other countries and having the opportunity to make a difference. He says, “I would like to convince influential people to continue funding research in order to further improve the quality of life for people with T1D even more, and maybe also someday find a cure”.
