Laura is thrilled to represent the United Kingdom at JDRF 2017 Children’s Congress. She has been an active T1D advocate in her community for years. She’s has been interviewed on television, hosted fundraisers for JDRF, and spoken to her school about living with T1D. Recently, she participated in a clinical trial for the artificial pancreas, and she is looking forward to sharing her experience. She says, “I will tell them about being involved in the pioneering AP Trial.” She’s most excited about meeting the Delegates from different countries and learning about life with T1D around the globe. She explains, “I am looking forward to meeting people from America and around the world and seeing how they cope with the condition and what technology they use.”
