Marley of Canada is ready to travel to Washington, D.C, as the Canadian Delegate at JDRF 2017 Children’s Congress. Marley and her mother both have T1D and are active as mentors. She says, “We’re committed to helping others find the support we naturally give each other.” Marley is a JDRF Youth Ambassador in Canada, and she has met with her Member of Parliament to let him know the importance of funding T1D research. Marley is driven by her desire for a cure. She explains, “I am passionate about finding a cure for T1D. A cure would mean everything to me, my mom and the millions affected by T1D. A cure would mean freedom.”
