When Todd was diagnosed with T1D in December 2017, he was scared of all the lifestyle changes that come with the disease. However, he has found life with T1D to be much easier with the help of his insulin pump and Dexcom G6, because he doesn’t have to use as many needles. “My dream is for a cure for T1D,” says Todd. He shows his commitment to this dream by raising funds for JDRF through JDRF One Walks, Galas and the many other fundraisers Todd and his friends and family have organized. He loves playing and watching sports, and when Todd grows up, he wants to be a professional baseball player, policeman or fireman. Todd is excited to expand his efforts by going to Children’s Congress and telling his Members of Congress that funding for T1D research is important, so his dream can be fulfilled.
