Thor loves building with Legos, so much so that instead of using a poster to do his yearly presentation at school to spread awareness about T1D, he created a stop-motion video using Legos! In addition to raising awareness about T1D in his community, Thor has served as a JDRF Youth Ambassador, and raised money for research through JDRF One Walk and his team, “Thor’s Heroes.”

Outside of raising T1D awareness, Thor recently earned his black belt in karate, loves to cross-country ski in the winter, and enjoys math and science. Thor wants to use his love for those subjects to one day become an engineer and design roads and bridges that help make communities better.
