Peyton is a busy 12 year old and likes trying new things! He has a red belt in martial arts, is a trumpet player in the middle school band, plays soccer and baseball, and was his school’s mascot in the 5th grade!
Peyton hosted a fundraiser for JDRF at his school that was so successful, he won the Superintendent’s Award!

He’s also a JDRF Youth Ambassador. Peyton loves showing off his insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor and explaining to people how they work. He’s very thankful for his family’s support–especially from his dad, who also lives with T1D. “One thing my parents taught me is never let diabetes stop me.” Peyton would like to work for a charity when he grows up to help people in need.
