If he's not playing baseball, or watching the Yankees, Jets, or Carolina Hurricanes play, you might find Robert reading Harry Potter or fundraising for JDRF. Diagnosed with diabetes at age three, Robert has helped raise over $10,000 with his Walk team, has served as a Junior Ambassador at two Galas, and volunteers as a Youth Ambassador to spread awareness.

As a delegate, Robert wants Congress to know, "Thousands of children just like me do everything we can to raise money for this research, but we can't do it alone." Robert is an Honor Roll student, and won his school's poetry contest last year. One day, he would like to become a Major League Baseball player or a firefighter.
