Isabella started raising awareness for type 1 diabetes in the third grade, making posters for her class about the differences between hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia. In the fourth grade, she dedicated months of research and writing for a class presentation about T1D. Isabella says, “I have always tried my best to advocate for the awareness of T1D.” She hopes that using her voice will help find a cure so that the number of kids with T1D is zero one day.

Isabella enjoys playing with her two siblings, is passionate about playing piano (she is learning the bass now), and just started taking tennis lessons. Isabella is very interested in the medical field and hopes to be an anesthesiologist when she grows up.
