You can’t stop Grace from spreading awareness about T1D! She has not one, but two social media accounts that she uses to educate people about life with T1D. One is dedicated to sharing her experiences (the good and bad) with T1D, and the other is focused on promoting dancers who live with a variety of disabilities, and she shares her own journey of being a dancer living with T1D. Grace has also participated in clinical trials to further T1D research and has met with Members of Congress to advocate for the T1D community.

Grace loves dancing and singing, and spending time with her Diabetic Alert Dog, Penny. She is also a dedicated student and will soon graduate with her high school diploma as well as an associate’s degree in pre-nursing. Grace plans on continuing her education and pursuing a career as a pediatric endocrinology nurse. “I want people to know they can do anything they set their hearts and minds to like my healthcare team has taught me from the very beginning. I may have T1D, but it does NOT have me.”
