Chris loves mythology and ancient history. He also enjoys creative writing, science, and politics. He’s especially proud of being an honor roll student and wants to be a history teacher when he grows up.

When he was younger, Chris was featured on a local news program explaining the impact of T1D on families. Chris’s family understands T1D: his dad, 3 brothers, and sister also have it. They’re all very involved with JDRF and advocacyin fact, his sister Noelle was a JDRF 2015 Children’s Congress Delegate! Chris is looking forward to being the new advocate in the family. “My dream for the future is that a cure will be found that can help my sister, brothers, dad, and me in a way that our family can afford, and that all families who deal with this disease can afford.”
