Age: 11
Age at T1D diagnosis: 3

Chandler is a pro when it comes to public speaking. He has spoken at his church, had roles in several plays and has even given presentations at school. What Chandler is most eager to speak about, though, is why T1D research is so important to him as well as the millions of Americans impacted by this disease. Chandler even had the opportunity to talk about T1D on a local radio program, and is excited to come to D.C. and share his story with Members of Congress. In addition to being an advocate, Chandler loves basketball, music and theatre, and hopes to one day become a scientist so he can help find a cure for T1D.
