Alex wants to be a pharmacist when he grows up because he loves helping people. His part-time job as a clerk at his local pharmacy has shown him that “things are not created equal when it comes to drug prices and insurance coverage.” This has motivated him to be an advocate for access and affordability, and a dedicated JDRF One Walk fundraiser.

Alex is on the golf team at his school and likes playing video games and spending time with friends and family, including his younger brother Aiden, who is also a Delegate this year! Alex was able to mentor Aiden during the initial days after his diagnosis and is grateful to have someone to talk about it with who knows what he is going through.
