Addison is passionate about everything she does, whether that’s playing volleyball, tennis, golfing, cheerleading, or getting the leading role in school plays. An accomplishment she is especially proud of is winning the grand champion title at her regional University Interscholastic League Congress meet.

Not only is Addison passionate about sports and school activities, she is also passionate about connecting with others who also live with T1D. Addison leads her local JDRF teen ambassador group with one of her best friends—they reach out to those who are newly diagnosed and create teen T1D events. She has even become a spokesperson for T1D on several local news stations! Her goal is to build and expand the T1D community. “We’ve created a place where we belong, where we can help one another in every way possible.”
