Eric loves playing hockey, football and Xbox. When he grows up he wants to be a professional hockey or football player, though his parents think he may enjoy being an architect or engineer. Eric has participated in eight JDRF One Walks and he is team captain for ‘Eric’s Force.’ He also attends his local JDRF Galas and has met with his Congressman about the importance of funding research for new treatments. He says, “These innovative devices and other technologies help to make my life a little easier.” Eric enjoys sharing his story with large groups at different JDRF fundraising events. “I am proud of all this because JDRF was very helpful when I was diagnosed and is a great resource for helping me live with the daily complications of T1D.”
