Zoey never lets T1D slow her down. She enjoys going to pre-school, playing with her older sister, dancing, playing at the park, coloring and wants to be a singer like Taylor Swift and Katy Perry when she grows up. Zoey and her family have participated in JDRF One Walk events since her diagnosis, and have raised $14,000 over the past two years. Zoey is excited to bring her spunk and enthusiasm to Children’s Congress, saying, “I want to help other kids with T1D. I also want to help find a cure so that I don’t have to be sick anymore.”
