Sophie is a creative girl with a passion for all things relating to the arts. She loves reading, writing, drawing and photography. Sophie especially loves mysteries, and has been inspired to write her own stories by those that she has read. She is proud of being published in a literary magazine, and of the drawing and photography classes she has taken. Sophie has been involved with the T1D community and JDRF since she was diagnosed with T1D at age four, and has never let diabetes stop her. Sophie says about her future aspirations, “I don’t know exactly what I want in my future, but one thing’s for certain: T1D isn’t going to stop me from doing it, whatever it may be.”
