At only seven years old, Morgan has told her family that she “wants to do whatever it takes to help and make a difference in type 1 diabetes research.” She has already won a Gold Award for being one of the largest fundraisers in JDRF’s Eastern Iowa Chapter, and she looks forward to sharing her story at Children’s Congress.

Morgan loves arts and crafts, and in her spare time, you’ll probably find her busy making a card for someone special to her. She also likes swimming, dance, gymnastics, and Girl Scouts. Morgan participates in an accelerated program at school. She is already considering a career as a doctor or nurse—a natural fit for her, since, as her parents say, “she loves helping others and is so kind in so many ways.”
