Mia enjoys drawing detailed anime characters, singing and dancing along to Hamilton, playing with her Boston Terrier Banzo and goofing around with her younger brother Kai. She aspires to be a world traveler. Diagnosed with T1D at age one, Mia has devoted most of her life to advocating for others to have the tools and tech necessary to take proper care of themselves. Mia even participated in the revolutionary Medtronic 670g clinical trial for her age group. “Without our technology, it would be impossible to survive life with type 1 diabetes,” explains Mia.
