Luke is a competitive soccer player who has two tournament championships under his belt so far! He is also a member of his school’s engineering club, and enjoys reading with his siblings. When he gets older, Luke would like to become a professional soccer player.

Luke has participated in a number of JDRF One Walk events, written cards to voters to urge them to consider insulin affordability when casting their ballot, and been right by his mom’s side as she’s advocated for the T1D community. “My mother documents my journey with T1D on social media and shares what it’s like for me to live with T1D.” Luke has already met with his Members of Congress through Promise to Remember Me meetings, and he looks forward to coming to Washington, D.C. to continue using his voice to advocate!
