Jordan describes himself as “family-oriented” and says that his journey with T1D has been a family effort. Jordan knows that not everyone living with T1D has a strong support system, which is one of the reasons he’s so passionate about using his voice. “Not everyone has others making their voice louder. I realize how much that support has meant to me, and by being a JDRF Children’s Congress Delegate, I can use my voice to continue to help others.”

When he’s not raising awareness about T1D as a JDRF Youth Ambassador or fundraising for his One Walk team, Jordan enjoys playing soccer for both his school team as well as a club team and volunteering as a part of the My Brother’s Keeper program. He plans on becoming a corporate lawyer when he’s older.
