Jackson wants to become a professional hockey player one day, and own his own taekwondo studio. He also enjoys baseball, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, golf, reading adventure series, and collecting sports memorabilia. Diagnosed at age three, Jackson faces some challenges due to his diabetes, but it hasn't stopped him from leading an active life. Every year, he and "Team Jackson" raise money and participate in JDRF's Walk to Cure Diabetes. He was also able to spread awareness about type 1 when he was interviewed about his experience with the disease on Fox News. As a delegate, Jackson says, "I hope to put a face to this disease, which never gives me or other kids like me a rest from it."
