Age: 10
Age at T1D diagnosis: 7

Gabby enjoys gymnastics, swimming and performing on stage. Children’s Congress will not be the beginning of Gabby’s advocacy; she already has been active in her local T1D community and took part in the Promise to Remember Me initiative. She says, “I became the 2016 Youth Ambassador and traveled around Orlando giving speeches to lots of different corporations. It is very important to me for other people to know what type 1 is and how they can help.” She’s ready to be a Delegate and speak to Congress because, “We need the government’s help so we can one day find the cure!”
