Chloe is a brilliant girl with a bright future ahead of her. She is very active in her community, plays volleyball and loves to dance tap, jazz and ballet. Chloe is in the Talented and Gifted classes at her school and has consistently earned straight A’s. When she grows up, Chloe plans to be a pediatric endocrinologist so she can use her personal experiences to help kids with T1D. Chloe saw firsthand the difference that scientists and doctors can make when she was part of an exciting artificial pancreas trial at the University of Virginia in 2016. “I felt like a normal kid again and was able to relax,” Chloe says about the trial.
