Age: 7
Age at T1D diagnosis: 4

Catelin received her T1D diagnosis two years ago, but she and her family were already familiar with the disease since both of her older brothers also live with T1D. Catelin and her family are very involved with the JDRF Georgia Chapter. The JDRF One Walk is one of her favorite days of the year, and she and her family had the opportunity to be the Fund A Cure speakers at their Chapter’s Hope Gala and share their T1D story. Catelin is excited to travel to D.C. and work toward a future where nobody has to live with T1D anymore, saying she “can’t wait to one day go to gymnastics, go swimming and sleep without any interruptions!”
