Age: 17
Age at T1D diagnosis: 9

Carson has personally raised more than $15,000 for T1D research. He has participated in several of the Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter’s JDRF One Walk and Kids Walk events, organized a basketball game benefitting JDRF at his school, and been the guest of honor at another basketball game that raised $2,000 for JDRF. Carson recently met with Speaker of the House Paul Ryan as part of the Promise to Remember Me initiative, and has spoken frequently at local schools about living with T1D. In his free time, Carson plays tennis, soccer, and basketball, and enjoys spending time with his one-year-old niece, Bella. He hopes to major in business and marketing in college and go into medical supply sales after graduation.
