Age: 8
Age at T1D diagnosis: 2

Carson was only two years old when he joined his father who is living with T1D. Though Carson is young, he shows that he is compassionate beyond his years by advocating for his dad just as much as he does for himself. He has even gotten new supporters to sign up from several different states! When Carson is not working for support for the T1D community, he can be found camping, fishing and visiting various state parks throughout Texas. He is especially eager to go to Washington, D.C. to meet with his Members of Congress, and wants them to know that “even though some days are hard, research and new technology made possible by the Special Diabetes Program have helped make my life easier.”
