If you want to know about all things basketball, Caden is your go-to guy! In addition to playing basketball at school, Caden serves as vice president of his school’s Junior Excel Club, a community service organization. Caden’s peers saw his natural leadership abilities with all the work he’s done to raise awareness about T1D and advocate on behalf of the T1D community. Caden has participated in JDRF One Walk events, and his family was the Fund A Cure family at their Chapter’s Gala in 2017. He has also spent time speaking about JDRF and T1D with local news stations and at local businesses. Caden is excited to bring his voice to Washington, D.C. “It was tough to speak in front of so many people, especially on television, but I am proud that I did it, and hope that it has helped T1D people like me!”
