Age: 6
Age at T1D diagnosis: 2

Where have you seen her face before? Maybe on the cover of JDRF’s 2016 Special Diabetes Program brochure, or you might recognize her from one of her corporate appearances as a JDRF Youth Ambassador. In any case, six-year-old Brynn is already making a name for herself as a persuasive advocate for support of T1D research. Since her diagnosis in 2013, Brynn and her family have worked tirelessly to raise awareness about living with T1D. She met with her Congressman as part of the Promise to Remember Me initiative, has been a top fundraiser at the Delaware Chapter’s Dover JDRF One Walk event two years in a row, and raised more than $1,000 for JDRF at a local Cheer for a Cause event. When she grows up, Brynn wants to be a doctor to help kids with diabetes.
