Age: 11
Age at T1D diagnosis: 10

Bram may have only been diagnosed with T1D last year, but he has maintained a positive attitude and does not let it stop him from doing things like swimming, snowboarding and playing lacrosse. He is especially grateful for his insulin pump and CGM, and wants everyone with T1D to be able to benefit from the breakthroughs in T1D research. Bram explains, “Congress should support research for diabetes because it will help all of the people who either can’t manage their diabetes or can’t afford it, get on top of their diabetes and live their life without restrictions.” Bram is excited to meet with his Members of Congress this summer at Children’s Congress.
