Ari is very passionate about sports and is on a competitive travel baseball team. “I’m proud of being able to perform as an elite athlete while being able to manage my T1D.” He also plays tennis and basketball, and is learning to play the clarinet. He manages a heavy course load that includes learning Hebrew and Arabic.

Ari has helped his dad fundraise for JDRF Ride for the past 9 years, and this year was Ari’s first time participating in a Ride in-person! Ari helps other people with T1D by mentoring newly diagnosed kids and sharing videos online about his experiences living with T1D. “Where I live, there are a lot of underprivileged families, and I have a goal to help those kids.” Ari’s dream for the future is to become a sports analyst and writer.
