Age: 17
Age at T1D diagnosis: 18 Months

Anthony is a junior in high school and starting catcher on his high school’s baseball team. When he’s not in school or on the baseball field, Anthony enjoys working out, playing video games and spending time with his friends. Anthony is also an active participant in JDRF events, including JDRF One Walk, TypeOneNation Summits and Galas. Anthony’s father and sister also live with T1D, and are a big part of why he is eager to participate in Children’s Congress this year. “I need to do everything possible to help encourage Congress to continue to fund research to find a cure. It is my dream that my children and grandchildren will never have to worry about receiving a diabetes diagnosis.”
