Though diabetes can be sad to think about, Allison is usually very happy. She uses her upbeat attitude to inspire and support others, delivering JDRF Bags of Hope to about three newly diagnosed children in the hospital every month.

Though diabetes can be sad to think about, Allison is usually very happy. She uses her upbeat attitude to inspire and support others, delivering JDRF Bags of Hope to about three newly diagnosed children in the hospital every month. Allison and her family have raised over $60,000 for JDRF in four years by participating in JDRF's Walk to Cure Diabetes, volunteering at their branch's Gala, and riding in the Ride to Cure Diabetes. Allison's dad is the President of JDRF's Northern Nevada Branch, and Allison is excited to help him. She enjoys talking with others about diabetes and spreading awareness about the need for research funding, which is her goal as a delegate. Allison enjoys dancing, singing, gymnastics, swimming, riding bikes with her younger brother, and taking nature hikes. When she grows up, Allison would like to be a singer.
