Adriana is an inspiration and a true testament to the amazing things young adults with T1D can do. She has an Instagram account dedicated to educating people about T1D, has written a book, The Real T1D, about living with the disease and has championed a JDRF One Walk team that raised more than $10,000. Outside of her T1D advocacy work, Adriana loves soccer, photography and modeling. When she grows up, she would like to be a special education teacher for younger kids. Adriana enjoys helping younger people and using her life experience to grow and help others, “Everything that I have gone through and am still going through has shaped me into the person I want to be.”
