Age: 7
Age at T1D diagnosis: 1

Though Adli can’t remember life before her T1D diagnosis, this budding young dancer and artist “loves to make people laugh and smile,” according to her mom. “She aspires to live out her dreams with a life free of type 1 diabetes.”

In addition to playing—she especially loves toys such as Legos and Polly Pocket—Adli is a dedicated dancer, taking classes three times each week, and she loves to participate in her Girl Scout troop. This little girl also plays a big volunteer role, attending JDRF Walks and other events, holding a bake sale at her dance studio to raise funds, and helping her family donate gift baskets to JDRF auctions. When she grows up, Adli would like to be a dancer or a performer.
