Age: 14
Age at T1D diagnosis: 3

Not only is William an honor student, he’s also a USTA tennis player, playing in tournaments and on his high school team. When William isn’t on the tennis court or in the classroom, you can find him enjoying the outdoors, particularly the water, or on the golf course. William is also active with JDRF through JDRF One Walk events, and serves as a mentor in his local T1D community. William is looking forward to coming to D.C. with a can-do attitude, so that he can help drive T1D research and tech progress forward as we work to “turn type one into type none!”
