Trinity doesn’t just wish for a cure, she works for it. For the last four years, she has asked her friends to bring donations for JDRF to her birthday party instead of gifts—raising close to $3,000. She sells hot dogs at her local ‘The Fresh Market’ to benefit JDRF, and recently helped host a pancake breakfast at a retirement community to benefit her local JDRF Walk. Her Walk team has raised more than $90,000 in five years. Trinity serves as a Junior Ambassador at the JDRF Gala. She has made fleece blankets and with personal messages of support for Duke Children’s Hospital to present to newly diagnosed children who are staying overnight. Trinity dances, acts, plays piano and especially loves to read. When she grows up, she wants to be a spy for the Central Intelligence Agency.
