Age: 14
Age at T1D diagnosis: 8

At Children’s Congress, Quinn wants to lend his voice to those kids who haven’t found their own yet. He also wants to share his experience with T1D with those unfamiliar with the disease. “I hope to fight for those who can’t. To get the help we need. For them to hear our stories and want the same.”

Quinn enjoys football, chess, and physical activity when he’s not busy speaking out for those with T1D. He has spoken at a JDRF Walk kickoff event and participated in a Type 1 Diabetes TrialNet study of the drug abatacept. The reason behind this talented advocate’s involvement is simple. “We owe it to our next generation to find a cure. It’s gut-check time, and we need the final help to cross the line.”
