Madison is a great outdoors expert. She raises animals for Future Farmers of America (FFA), and her livestock judging team even made it to the state competition two years ago where she earned her letter jacket as a freshman. Madison also has a passion for mentoring kids, and wants to be an agriculture teacher when she grows up. She often mentors kids with T1D and has been steadily involved with JDRF since she was diagnosed at just 13 months old. Madison wants her Members of Congress to know that funding T1D research is important because, “just within the past 15 years of me being diagnosed, so many advances have been discovered. It’s truly amazing.”
