Age: 9
Age at T1D diagnosis: 2

Jameson knows that the T1D community is supportive regardless of where one lives, because he’s experienced it firsthand. He and his family have been deeply involved with JDRF since Jameson was diagnosed with T1D at age two. Because his father is an active duty member of the Air Force, Jameson has been an ambassador for JDRF in numerous states. He also plays flag football and is proud to have his blue belt in taekwondo. Jameson has an identical twin and two younger brothers, he likes to spend his free time playing with them and building with Legos. He is excited to go to Children’s Congress this year, saying, “my dream for the future is to have a normal grownup life without diabetes.”
