Gabby's friends have learned a lot about diabetes, and sometimes they even participate in testing her blood sugar. Diagnosed at age one, Gabby can't remember a life without diabetes, and hopes to raise awareness about the disease.

Gabby's friends have learned a lot about diabetes, and sometimes they even participate in testing her blood sugar. Diagnosed at age one, Gabby can't remember a life without diabetes, and hopes to raise awareness about the disease. That's why she educates her friends, gives presentations at her school, volunteers alongside her mom for JDRF, and has walked for a decade with "Gabby's Gang" in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes. When she's not fundraising with JDRF, Gabby enjoys volleyball, softball, drawing, shopping, texting, and designing. She recently took her first trip to New York and saw Justin Bieber in concert.
