Evelyn is a shining light for other kids with T1D. She loves making new friends and being part of the Sugar Free Gang, a support group of families impacted by T1D in her area. Evelyn makes YouTube videos in the hopes that she can inspire other children with T1D to live well, and to help the world better understand what it’s like to be a kid with T1D. She says, “I would like to help other kids with T1D by showing them how to be positive.” Evelyn also enjoys playing sports, especially gymnastics, soccer and basketball. She looks forward to meeting her Members of Congress at Children’s Congress this year.
