Aspiring pro baseball player Caden is stepping up to the plate against T1D. Although he’s only six years old, Caden is a veteran of the Kansas City Chapter’s JDRF One Walk event, and was a guest speaker along with his mother and older brother at a local business’ JDRF kick-off event. Caden’s family was also chosen as one of the featured families in the most recent Dream Gala video. “My family is excited to see what the future holds for both my older brother and me,” says Caden. “There are some really amazing treatments that the scientists are working on and they will be game-changers for everyone living with T1D.”
