Bridgette is a born entertainer—she loves singing and dancing, and has even performed at a JDRF Gala. Both Bridgette and her older brother Ned have T1D, and both dream of finding a cure someday. “I want a cure for type 1 diabetes to free my brother and me from the pricks, shots, needles, and worry for us and our family.”

Bridgette plays soccer on her team, The Unicorns, practices ballet, and loves to play with her brothers and their dog, Otis. She has participated in fundraising for the JDRF Walk. Along with her dad and brother Ned, Bridgette met with a state lawmaker to discuss T1D. At Children’s Congress, she hopes to share her story and promote awareness of T1D.
