Age at T1D diagnosis: 3

Anthony enjoys karate and is working toward his adult black belt. He also likes to play music on the piano, guitar and ukulele. He’s been involved with JDRF for years, participating in the JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes, volunteering at his local Gala and serving as a Youth Ambassador. Anthony is ready to serve as a Delegate and ask for continued support of research. He’s seen how far treatments for T1D have come in his lifetime, and he wants to see that progress evolve. As he explains, “There have been many advances in diabetes care since I was first diagnosed. We need to continue this work. There are more and more people being diagnosed each day with type 1 diabetes. I want to help stop this.”
