Christopher from Wisconsin
Age: 16Profile:

Since his diagnosis six years ago, Christopher has seen first hand how technology helps people with type 1 diabetes. He has used both the insulin pen and the insulin pump, which is what he uses currently. He has participated in every local Walk or other fundraiser for diabetes since he was diagnosed, and was the youth ambassador at many of these events. He has received local recognition for citizenship and community acts. Christopher enjoys golf, cross-country skiing, acting, reading, writing and watching movies. He is interested in being involved with things that pertain to filmmaking, traveling globally, helping the less fortunate, and learning more about world history. "My goal is to keep people involved in wanting to help support JDRF and its goal for finding a cure. I want to convince people that it is worthwhile to show support for this cause, that they can make a difference."
